I always want to dance around all day this time of year... it gets really bad after dance recitals... my coworker said we can compare this phenomenon to monster truck fans driving up on the curbs after a good show.
I miss dancing soooooo terribly much. I still dance... I just chasse from the printer to my desk. I also had a car dancing spree on our way to pick up my roommate's car from the neighbourhood shop. But that's only 5 minutes.
I need the right dance remedy to cure my dancing blues. It has to be the right dosage at just the right temperature.
I need more aaand I need it to be good, free, spacious, fun, and soon.

Biking with Dog
Ok. I know it is super dangerous and you're probably shaking your head or tisking me already. Seriously though, having my dog pull me on my bike is ridiculously fun and FAST. As a dog owner you get so much more out of the "walk" as it turns into a wild sprint down the back lane.
My back lane actually takes me straight to a school yard where we play fetch. Then she pulls me back. It's pretty safe.. unless those weary looking alley cats attack my dog like they did last Friday or if you let your dog pull you across an intersection with on coming traffic, like I let her do on. Even if you left enough time to "safely" J-walk J-bike across, it is still absolutely terrifying to fall flat on the road. Anyways... On major routes with no cross walk I always walk my bike across and hold on to my dog's harness from now on! No exceptions.

First Blog Entry in Ages
My first entry...
I haven't really written a regular blog or flog or foto-log since I was in Brazil. I do have Facebook (use regularly), Twitter (don't use regularly), and my own personal website that I had to create a few years ago for school (so it's outdated).
To get to know me a little you can check-out my older blogs/sites:http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~umkonge/about.html
http://www.fotolog.com/trinette/13947308/
I needed something FRESH. So here it goes.
It's Monday in Winnipeg - Sun is shining and I just road my bike to work in fluorescent clothing. It took me exactly 30 minutes like it always does. But, today I felt faster than usual.
Have a great day!
